This unknown flower bloomed near the door of our rental house.
There was no one to ask its name but every morning it was a little different, a new bloom or a new red point. There is just something about it that gives me pleasure and peace. Does anyone know this flower?
I have this easy to grow plant in my garden in Central Mexico but I donĀ“t know its name. Its leaves have scalloped edges and sticking one leaf into the soil is all you need to do to create a new plant. Once a year, when it reaches an approximate height of 25", it produces this beautiful flower.
If you come across the name, please share it with me! Greetings from Mexico,
Ilse
I've never seen anything quite like this one, but in Fiji there is a flower on a vine which is the opposite - red and white inside - it's called the tagimaucia.
Nice blog you have.
