Your plant is in Wiki at: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bryophyllum

I have this easy to grow plant in my garden in Central Mexico but I donĀ“t know its name. Its leaves have scalloped edges and sticking one leaf into the soil is all you need to do to create a new plant. Once a year, when it reaches an approximate height of 25", it produces this beautiful flower. If you come across the name, please share it with me! Greetings from Mexico, Ilse

I've never seen anything quite like this one, but in Fiji there is a flower on a vine which is the opposite - red and white inside - it's called the tagimaucia. Nice blog you have. w.

I just love this flower. Did anyone correctly identify it?
